An open-air patio and gathering space at the Webster Avenue end of The Corner.
PLAY PLAZA

At the Webster Avenue end of The Corner, between our building and the Torrent House, you’ll find PLAY Plaza—our open-air patio and gathering space. Located on the PLAY Muskegon side of the building, it faces the Hackley Library and Muskegon Museum of Art and sits just kiddy-corner from Hackley Park, keeping it connected to downtown while slightly removed from the main strip.

The plaza spans the full width of the building and is clearly defined from the adjacent drive lane. While the alley itself continues to function as a slow access lane to nearby parking, the patio space is open, spacious, and intentionally set apart. Removable sections allow food trucks to pull in and park alongside the plaza while maintaining a comfortable layout.

During the warmer months, PLAY Plaza serves as an outdoor extension of the building—home to PLAY Muskegon’s play and gathering space during the day, and a casual, family-friendly patio environment in the evenings and on weekends. With rotating food trucks, colorful seating, and an easy, come-and-go atmosphere, it’s designed as a place to meet, eat, and spend time outdoors.
